Shelbyville Parks Department Preschool Meet the Teacher night, Wednesday, August 15th.  2 day class at 6:00p.m. and 3 day class at 7:00p.m.  If you have any questions, please call the office at 317-302-5128. Hope to see everyone there!

FREE TO THE PUBLIC (Rain or Shine)

The Easthills with special guest Doug Henthorn will be a night of rock and blues. The Easthills are an Indiana based band whose most recent album Fear & Temptation gained critical praise behind the songs, and accompanying videos, for "Mother & Fools", "Holiday Women", and "Georgia Pine".  The album also features guest appearances by members of REO Speedwagon, Tesla, Guided by Voices and Georgia Satellites.  Doug Henthorm will open the show.  Henthorn, formerly of Healing Sixes, has toured and appeared on albums by Joe Bonamassa, John Hiatt and Beth Hart.

Please come out and enjoy the music, again this is FREE to the public.  We will have concessions available, this will include a food truck there along with beer and wine to purchase.  Hope to see everyone there!!!

********We also have tickets on sale now for our September 15th Dinner Under The Stars at Blue River Memorial Park, tickets are $30 for reserved seating and $20 for general.  Dinner will start at 6p, Melvin Pierce will be doing some of his famous cooking for this event.  The concert is "FREE" and it will be A Hard Days Night "A Tribute to the Beatles" the show will begin at 7pm and go until 9pm.  So please come out and enjoy the evening.  Tickets can be purchased at the Parks Department.*******

Blue River Memorial Park

Corey Cox will be playing on Friday, July 20th.  He is a country and western singer and has toured with big names such as Willie Nelson and Dierks Bentley.  Scott Shrader will be playing from 6p-7p before Corey comes on.  Melvin Pierce will be here cooking and selling his famous pulled pork BBQ. So come out and enjoy this FREE concert at Blue River Memorial Park by the shelter.
