Fall/Winter Guide 2018


Office Hours:  Monday-Friday 8 am- 4 pm


Halloween Fun Festival, Friday, October 26th at the Shelby County Fairgrounds.  From 6:30-9:30 pm (bring a trick-or-treat bag), for ages 12 and under.  Join your friends at the Shelbyville Parks Department for a "Spooktacular" good time!  We will have games, crafts, pumpkin carving, pony rides, bonfire, music by GIANT 96 Real Radio, hayrides to our pumpkin patch with some great thrills along the way and much more!

Wrist bands can be purchased at the Parks Department office, at 945 S. Tompkins Street, $7/child in advance or $8/child at the festival.  Hope to see everyone there!

Blue River Memorial Park

Music in the Park is proud to announce Hard Days Night:  A Tribute to the Beatles, will be playing on Saturday, September 15th at Blue River Memorial Park.  This will be our Dinner Under the Stars too, Melvin Pierce will be cooking the delicious meal, tickets will go on sale end of July, first of August, please contact the Parks Department for further details, reserved seating tickets are $30.00 and regular tickets are $20.00.  We will also have beer and wine to purchase the night of the show.  So please some and enjoy the sounds of the Beatles.
