More about this summer’s shows:
Friday, June 28, 2024 – Bac to Mac (A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac)
Back 2 Mac’s 40+ song list spans all the hits of the chart-topping Buckingham / Nicks / McVie era and also features early classics like Peter Green’s “Black Magic Woman” and Bob Welsh’s “Sentimental Lady”. Lush vocal harmonies and an easy-going playfulness with the audience distinguishes Back 2 Mac performances from those of other tributes. In late 2022/early 2023 the band completed a 12-city run of shows that incorporated guest singers in each city joining the band to perform songs from McVie’s extraordinary musical life, from her early London days in Chicken Shack and Christine Perfect to her last recorded song with Fleetwood Mac.
Members of Back 2 Mac have played and recorded with Leon Russell, Bob Weir, The Impressions, Days Of The New, Josh Ritter, Anais Mitchell, and Kevin Morby. They pool their experiences into electrifying performances of Fleetwood Mac music, playing city-sponsored events and venues including City Winery (Nashville, Philly, Chicago, and Boston), Brooklyn Bowl (Brooklyn); Headliners Music Hall (Louisville); The Bluebird (Bloomington IN), and Stephen Foster Amphitheater (Bardstown KY). In May 2023 Back 2 Mac will perform opening night of Abbey Road On The River Festival alongside Mickey Dolenz.
Friday, July 26, 2024 – Don’t Rock the Jukebox (Country Music Tribute)
Don’t Rock The Jukebox is A One Of A Kind Tribute….Presented By Chicago’s #1 Country Band – Hillbilly Rockstarz. This Tribute show takes you back on a journey through time, hit after hit of feel-good country music.
You know, The Good Stuff! Featuring Iconic artists featured in the 80’s, 90’s and 00’s including Shania Twain, Tricia Yearwood, George Strait, Diamond Rio, Reba, Tim McGraw, Wynonna, Faith Hill- Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, Brooks and Dunn, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, Dixie Chicks, LeAnn Rimes, Alan Jackson, Alabama, Tracy Byrd and more.
Friday, August 16, 2024 – Thunderstruck (AC/DC Tribute)
Thunderstruck: America’s AC/DC gives fans so much more than the sound of AC/DC, they truly capture the high voltage energy and experience! For fans, it’s about a sense of familiarity, and it’s about a feeling that snatches up listeners and takes over. It’s about a contagious kind of power and electricity that few AC/DC tribute bands can provide. From Kyle LaPato’s strong on-stage performance replicating the Angus Young of the 70’s and 80’s, to Bobby Lee Stamper’s versatile vocals mimicking both Bon Scott and Brian Johnson ranges, to the incredible rhythm section made up of Kevin Feller on rhythm guitar, Corey Baetz on drums, and Chris Jones on bass, Thunderstruck gives a complete and consistently quality live show as true to the spirit of AC/DC that you can possibly get.
Friday, September 13, 2024 – No Fences (Garth Brooks Tribute)
No Fences is the #1 tribute to country music icon Garth Brooks featuring Dusty Miller. A non-stop roller coaster ride celebrating all things Garth! Located in the heart of the midwest, No Fences faithfully replicates the sound, look and feel of a Garth Brooks concert and was founded out of the love of Garth Brooks’ music. Our “Garth” credits the man himself for inspiring him to pick up a guitar at 11 years old. What started out as an 11 year old winning a lip sync contest complete with a homemade headset mic made by his sister has turned into a full blown tribute concert experience 30 years later.
The No Fences band is comprised of seasoned players hailing from all over the midwest including Nashville TN. Band members have opened for Brad Paisley, Toby Keith and The Kentucky Headhunters. Our “Garth” also provided back up vocals for country music legend Kenny Rogers.
