Blue River Memorial Park is a 186-acre park nestled up to the Little Blue River on the northeast side of Shelbyville and is quite visible from Interstate 74. This park is a very busy park with some great amenities. The Blue River Memorial Park's center is a great memorial to Shelby County's veterans that died in war. It sits in the center to show they are deep in our hearts and we are thankful for their sacrifice. The park also has 20 acres of quail and butterfly habitat on the south side of the park tucked in our nationally known cross-country course. Blue River Memorial Park also has a musical instruments feature at the playground. All of these amenities in some way make life better.

The park also features a splash pad and dog park.

Pavilion Rentals

Pavilions may be reserved beginning in January for that year. Available dates are April through mid-October (weather permitting)
