Park Board

Overview

Pursuant to Ind. Code § 36-10-3-4 all members are appointed by the Mayor. Pursuant to Ind. Code 36-10-3-5 all appointments are for four year terms or until a successor is appointed.

Duties

The Parks Board operates to manage public parks and recreation facilities and to create recreational, cultural, education, and leisure activities to benefit and enhance the quality of life in this community.
